I am pleased to announce that testing is finally complete for the V6 Ported Throttle Bodies and we are ready for production! For those of you who have no seen our past threads, I have been working closely with Billet Tech and with my own research to develop a ported throttle body for both the 2.7L and 3.5L Mopar V6 engines. After numerous independent beta testers had reported gains we turned to the dyno for proof. The ported TB produced gains of +/- 5hp and 5tq. Our independent testers have also reported increased throttle response and more power on the top end.
Without further ado, I am proud to announce a V6 Ported Throttle Body group buy!!
Pricing and Group Buy Arrangements:
5 TBs.... $325 +shipping
10 TBs.... $310 +shipping
15 TBs.... $295 +shipping
We have opted not to offer a core exchange program because of the turn around time that occurs waiting for people to return their cores and also the cleaning required to make the used TBs sellable again. If you would like us to port your throttle body as opposed to buying our new ones the charge is $160 plus shipping (no quantity restrictions).
We need a minimum of 5 orders to make this happen and we require half down ($160) up front. We will notify you when your unit is ready to ship at which time we require the remaining half to be paid. All payment will received through PayPal. Please send payment to the PayPal address rwphoto@cox.net

So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!
awesome!! once i get funds ill be all over this like a hobo on a hot dog
beans for showing some v6 love!!
out of curiosity, who is "us"
In other words, which vendor are you working with?
I'm interested. How difficult are these to install?
Very easy. The throttle body on both the 2.7L and 3.5L is held on with 4 10mm bolts. The 3.5L also has a bracket that bolts to the side of the engine and onto the throttle body. Just loosen the 2 15mm bolts on the bottom of the bracket and the 2 10mm nuts holding the bracket to the TB and you are there. The rubber o-ring gasket for the throttle body is reusable in most cases.
I will have a couple of throttle bodies that are ported "used" cores in like new condition and for those attending SpringFest we can swap them out at the event as a core exchange if their throttle body is in good condition.
I need to know who is going to SpringFest and who wants one otherwise they will not get done in time. If your throttle body is in good condition and we do the swap at the event the cost will be $160. Like I said, I need to know ASAP if anyone is interested so I can get them sent to BT before they leave next week.
I'm intrested in a swap at Spring Fest
Well guys, as it stands I have 1 core it remains stock right now and I'm waiting to hear back from another local guy who I may or maynot be able to buy his stock one from him. I'm basically out of time to send it to BilletTech to have it ready for SpringFest. I've received very little response on this thread and others let alone a YES I WANT ONE so its hard for me to justify the cost to go buy new ones at a dealer and pay a premium to have it in time for Spring Fest without confirmed orders...
The only way I see having a few ready for Spring Fest is buying them at a dealer...And if I do that and port them by hand there I would be losing money at a $160 core exchange. I would say it would be a minimum of 200 depending how low I can get the dealers price. But I cant do that without some confirmations. I've been out of work for 4 weeks now so I cant afford to buy these cores without it paying off.
Can we get a yay or nay?
I can only if it's 160.00 cause more than that would be pushing it
If you send yours to Billet Tech we can do it for that price. But that will cover the machining costs and thats it.
FYI, I have a ported manifold and ported TB completely done for SpringFest. The throttle body will be a special show piece for the lucky buyer. Photos tomorrow.
